Chartered scientist, astronaut trainer and former Premier League Head of Performance — applying the science of elite sport to the extremes of human space flight.
For over a decade Tess led performance in some of the most demanding arenas in world sport — the Premier League, Formula One, Olympic and Paralympic programmes. Then she took the same science somewhere harder to reach: preparing humans for space. Today she advises space agencies and commercial crews on astronaut selection and training, holds a PhD in aerospace physiology, and serves as a British Army Reserve Officer in the Royal Engineers.
